Salavat Yulaev again took first lead in series with Avtomobilist having won in overtime

Ufa hosted the third match of the series Salavat Yulaev - Avtomobilist. It was important for the hosts to distinguish themselves first, which they did. Though, it took almost 30 minutes of playing time to score the first goal. Vladimir Tkachev took advantage of the error of the Ural team, outwitted goalkeeper Yakub Kovarazh and sent a puck behind the goalkeeper. It was preceded by four penalties, three of which to the team of Andrei Martemyanov.

However, the guests also managed to score. Five minutes after the start of the third period, Avtomobilist distinguished itself shorthanded, having won a face-off and hitting Juha Metsola’s net - 1: 1.

The regular time was not enough to determine the winner. It took 11 minutes and 8 seconds for the next scoring by Salavat Yulaev - 2: 1. The team again led in the series. The winning goal was scored by Jonas Kempainen.

The next meeting of rivals will be held on March 20.
