Agidel hockey players are Universiade champions in Krasnoyarsk as part of Russian team

The Russian national team became the winner of the women's hockey tournament at the Universiade in Krasnoyarsk.
In the final, the Russians beat the team of Canada. Liana Ganeeva opened the score in the third period. Eleven seconds before the end of the match, Alevtina Shtareva set the final score. Maria Batalova and Anna Shibanova, hockey players of the Ufa Agidel, competed as part of the Russian team.
In the match for the bronze medals of the Universiade, the Japanese team defeated the United States.
The night before, the Russian women's team won the US team in the semifinals of the Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk with a crushing score of 10: 0. In that match, Maria Batalova hit the net and Anna Shibanova made two assists.
