Semen Elistratov won silver and bronze at World Short Track Championships

The Ufa athlete Semen Elistratov won silver and bronze medals at the World Short Track Speed Championships in Sofia (Bulgaria). According to Vesti.ru, first Elistratov took third place at a distance of 1000 meters, having lost to two South Korean masters - Lim Hyo Jung and Hwan De Hon. Then the athlete won a silver medal at a distance of 3,000 meters. The gold went to Korean Lim Hyo Jung. A bronze award went to the Japanese Keith Wtanabe.

The Russian women's team, which was played by Ekaterina Efremenkova, Ekaterina Konstantinova, Emina Malagich and Sofia Prosvirnova, won silver in the 3,000-meter relay. Athletes from South Korea won the race. The third result was shown by the Canadian team.
