Third Universiade Medal: Eduard Latypov won bronze in pursuit race

A 24-year-old biathlete from Ufa, Eduard Latypov, won a full set of medals at the Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk. The athlete took the bronze award in the 12.5 km pursuit. The first and second place also went to the Russians: Dmitry Ivanov and Nikita Porshnev.

Eduard Latypov already twice rose on a podium in Krasnoyarsk competitions. The biathlete won the first silver in the individual 20 km race, and gold in the sprint race.

Thus, Eduard Latypov with a full set of medals is going to the World Championship in Sweden (Ostersund), where he will compete for the Russian team. The competitions will last until March 17.
