The Ufa Salavat Yulaev held the fifth match of the 1/4 finals of the KHL Eastern Conference playoff series against Metallurg (Magnitogorsk). Salavat Yulaev won 2: 1 and led again in the series. After four starting matches of the teams' confrontation (two games each in Magnitogorsk and Ufa) the score in the series was 2-2. In the first match, the Salavat Yulaev lost 1: 2 in the second overtime. In the second and third games, our players won a convincing victory, having defeated the Magnitogorsk team 4: 1 and 5: 1. In the fourth match, the players of Nikolay Tsulygin lost 1: 2 in extra time.

The Ufa team already in the 2nd minute of the overtime of the fifth match scored a puck and snatched a victory. The goal was organized by the fourth attacking line of the Salavat Yulaev. Kadeykin successfully made a takeaway, held a grandmaster pause and sent a pass to Tkachev, and the latter used his chance.
