Bashkiria freestyler won bronze medal of Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk

An athlete from Bashkiria won a medal on the first competitive day of the Winter Universiade after its opening in Krasnoyarsk. The 19-year-old freestyler Ruslan Katmanov scored 87.77 points in ski acrobatics and finished third on the podium. Thus, Katmanov is the first of the republic who won a medal.

A gold medal went to Maxim Burov from Yaroslavl, and silver to a Chinese freestyler Zhonglin Li.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that 10 athletes represented Bashkiria at the Universiade.
