The Russian national short track team was the first in the mixed relay at the World Cup stage in Turin, Italy. Ekaterina Efremenkova, Semen Elistratov, Pavel Sitnikov, and Evgenia Zakharova showed a result of 2 minutes 40.553 seconds. The team of Canada took the second place (2.40,614), the third place went to the athletes from the USA (2.43,493), RIA Novosti reports.

Also, the Russian men's short track team won gold in the relay at the final stage of the World Cup. Denis Khayrapetyan, Semen Elistratov, Alexander Shulginov, and Pavel Sitnikov showed the result of 7 minutes 0.206 seconds. The second place was taken by short- trackers from Japan (7.00,703). The Italians were the third - (7.06,520).

The women's team of Russia ranked third in the relay. Ekaterina Efremenkova, Ekaterina Konstantinova, Emina Malagich, and Sofia Prosvirnova showed the result of 4 minutes 12.590 seconds. The first place was taken by the Dutch national team (4.10,115), the second - by the Italian national team (4.11,021).
