On February 4, HC Salavat Yulaev competed with Barys (Astana). The visiting team turned out to be stronger.

In the first minute, Nikolay Tsulygin’s players remained shorthanded but remained safe. In the middle of the start-up period, the Ufa players hit the Karlsson’s gate, but after 47 seconds they received an “answer” from Nikita Mikhailis - 1: 1.

In the second period, it happened exactly the opposite. Barys took the lead having capitalized on the mistake of the home team. But Omark with the help of partners did not put up with the advantage of the team from Kazakhstan and equalized - 2: 2.

The Ufa team had its chances in the third period as well as its rivals, but the teams decided to play in the overtime. It took Barys 28 seconds to complete the meeting with a winning throw.
