The representative of the Ufa school of short track Semen Yelistratov won another gold medal. At this time, an athlete from the capital of Bashkiria won the first place as part of the Russian team at the World Cup in Dresden, Germany. Russians won the 2000 meter relay. Our short trackers showed a time of 2 minutes, 40.527 seconds. The Hungarian athletes were the second with a score of 2.41.045, the British short-trackers the third (2.41,762).

Semen Yelistratov rose to the first step of the podium with Alexander Shulginov, Ekaterina Efremenkova, and Sofya Prosvirnova. This victory was the first in the history of the Russian national team in this discipline.
