Salavat Yulaev meets Barys: predictions for KHL regular championship match

On February 4, the hockey club Salavat Yulaev meets Barys (Astana) at the "Ufa-Arena". The rivals met three times in the 11th season of the KHL: the Nikolay Tsulygin’s players won twice (3: 0 and 7: 3), once the team from Kazakhstan (1: 0) was stronger.

At the moment, Salavat Yulaev occupies the sixth place in the Eastern Conference of the League, ahead of Torpedo by 10 points and behind Metallurg by six. Barys reached the second line of the East (10 points behind Avtomobilist and 2 points ahead of Ak Bars).

“Salavat Yulaev and Barys played 40 matches against each other in the KHL championships. Twenty-four games were won by the Ufa team”, the Salavat Yulaev press service recalled.

Bookmakers believe that the victory in the upcoming meeting in Ufa is more necessary for guests from Kazakhstan (to keep the second line). Hockey experts believe that the Ufa team will accumulate its strength for the playoffs.

The beginning of the "Salavat Yulaev" - "Barys" match is at 7.00 p.m. Ufa time. Live broadcast of the match will be available on KHL TV HD, BST, and Kurai TV (in Bashkir) channels.
