All volunteers of Summer International Children's Games-2019 gathered in Ufa for first time

On January 31, in the capital of Bashkiria, for the first time, all 500 volunteers gathered who will help athletes, coaches, and guests of the city at the Summer International Children's Games-2019.

Volunteers met with the Directorate of the ICG Organizing Committee, got acquainted with the training program. Volunteers discussed issues related to service and direct functions at the games with the director of "Center for the Youth Employment Promotion", Elena Nedopekina.

“To be honest, they called me to be a volunteer at International Children's Games”, Maryam, a silver volunteer, admitted to the journalist of the Bashinform News Agency. By the way, the woman celebrated her 70th anniversary. “The last time I went to Sochi and was a volunteer at the World Festival of Youth and Students. Since childhood, I wanted to help and helped people, and now I finally make this mission a reality”.

Recall, Ufa was the first city in the history of the International Children's Games, which will host winter (2013) and summer competitions. The latter will be held in the capital of Bashkiria from July 9 to July 14, 2019. More than two thousand athletes, coaches, and fans from 31 cities of the world are expected to arrive. The representatives of South Korea, Thailand, Slovakia, Israel, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Mexico, Holland, and Australia have already confirmed their participation.
