Anton Babikov won IBU Cup in mixed relay as part of national team

The Ufa biathlete Anton Babikov won a mixed relay of the sixth stage of the IBU Cup, which ended today in the Swiss Lenzerheide. The Russian athletes Anton Babikov, Alexey Slepov, Valeria Vasnetsova and Victoria Slivko overcame a distance of 2x7.5 km + 2x6 km in 1 hour 16 minutes 24.1 seconds, using seven additional cartridges at eight firing lines. The second place was taken by the German national team (1.24.9 lag; 2 penalties + 10 additional cartridges), the Norway team finished third (+1.29.8; 0 + 12), TASS reports.

A day earlier, the representative of the Bashkir biathlon school showed the third result in the pursuit, with two penalties at the firing line.
