Daniele Bagnoli resigned as head coach of Ural volleyball club

After the 10th round of the Russian volleyball championship among men's teams, the “Ural” head coach Daniele Bagnoli announced his resignation. The Italian specialist leaves the Bashkir team with his assistant Yaroslav Antonov.

“This was my last game as a coach of the VC Ural. The club decided to change the coaches as and my assistant, Yaroslav Antonov. I want to thank all the fans of "Ural" for their support. Thank you! I loved Ufa very much”, Bagnoli said after losing his players to Zenit St. Petersburg (0: 3). “Everyone is looking at the standings. Everything is very tight there and literally, one or two victories are able to return us to the playoff zone. In the second round, “Ural” will play with its direct competitors at home and still, it will be possible to fix everything. I would like to wish the team good luck with new coaches. "Ural" has become a family for me".

At the moment, the Ufa volleyball club takes 12th place in the championship standings, ahead of only “Ugra-Samotlor” and “Yaroslavich”.
