Two thousand athletes took part in Martial Arts Forum in Ufa

UFA, 20 December 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The 15th International Martial Arts Forum ended in Ufa. It was held under the auspices of the Russian Union of Martial Arts. According to the Ministry of Sports RB, this year the forum was attended by over two thousand athletes from 35 regions of Russia and nine foreign countries.

For three days competitions were held at the venues of the Dynamo stadium. The All-Russian masterful karate tournament, the open national martial arts championship, open tournaments, seminars and master classes in belt wrestling, taolu, sanda wrestling, eastern martial arts, aikido and other martial arts.

The forum culminated in a unique gala performance under the auspices of the ICLAS International All-Style Professional Fighting League - the combat show “Combat Ring 28th”, where fighters from Russia (including three Bashkir fighters) competed with representatives of Angola, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan.
