Bashkir draught players won gold and silver at China World Cup final stage

On November 11, the "Lishui Open" International Tournament - the final stage of the 2018 World Cup, with the participation of six players of the Central Bashkortostan Draughts Club finished in the city of Lishui (China).
Total, 106 participants took part in the prestigious competition, including 22 international grandmasters and seven international masters.
According to the press service of the Federation of International Draughts Rustam Shayakhmetov, the Ufa native Aigul Idrisova won the women's event. She had three victories and six draws, a total of 12 points and the first coefficient of 90. The second was Matryona Nogovitsyna (Yakutia) with the same number of points but with a slightly less coefficient - 89. The third winner Olga Baltazhi (Ukraine) also had 12 points and coefficient of 88. Having yielded only one point, Tamara Tansykkuzhina (Ufa) was the 9th with 11 points. Aliya Aminova (Ufa) was the 23rd, she had 9 points.
Among men, Alexander Georgiev (Ufa) took the third place. The second was Guntis Valneris (Latvia). Alexey Chizhov was the winner (Udmurtia). Murodullo Amrillaev (Sterlitamak) became the fourth. All four had 13 points each, 4 wins and 5 draws.
Ainur Shaibakov (Ufa) had 12 points and the seventh place.
By the end of the year, Alexander Georgiev was the second in the World Cup in the overall standing, Aigul Idrisova was the fifth.
We can add that for the first time the World Draughts Federation summed up the results of the World Team Cup among men and women. The Russian team won in both categories. In the national teams, three Ufa athletes became the winners of the World Cup team: Georgiev among men, Idrisova and Tansykkuzhina among women.
