Many former Ufa hockey players play in the Moscow club: Anton Lazarev, Enver Lisin, Maxim Goncharov, Nikita Filatov, and others.

The match began with a series of penalties of the visiting team. Salavat Yulaev failed to capitalize on two power plays, but Joonas Kemppainen opened the scoring during the third one. The assist was made by Anton Burdasov. The second goal also hit the net of Muscovites assisted by the captain. The attack was completed by Peter Khokhryakov.

In the second period, after two quick goals of Spartak performed by Filatov and Kuteikin, the rivals had to start all over again - 2: 2. But the captain Burdasov did not put up with this situation and fulfilled his promise to score in honor of the seriously ill boy Roma: his wrist shot left no chances for the opponent’s goalkeeper.

Metsola missed the third goal in the middle of the third period, and the fourth one a little later. Ufa Arena was puzzled, and Spartak fans were jubilant.
