Salavat Yulaev defeated Vityaz in home match

UFA, 29 October 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Natalia Ovcharuk/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. On October 28, HC Salavat Yulaev met with Vityaz (Moscow Region). The home team was eager for revenge after an offensive defeat in an away match.

In the starting period, the rivals were not able to hit the net of the Finnish goalkeepers. But in the second period, Salavat Yulaev struck Yoni Ortio’s net. The first goal of the Ufa team in this match was scored by Vyacheslav Osnovin in the season. However, before this, the captain of the Salavat Yulaev Anton Burdasov went to the locker room until the end of the game: the forward knocked out the Vityaz hockey player. The referees were forced to punish the home team with a five-minute penalty.

In the third stretch of the playing time, Nikolay Tsulygin’s players scored one more goal. The attacking line of foreign players distinguished themselves. The combination was successfully completed by Jonas Kemppainen - 2: 1.

The coaches of the teams took turns taking time-outs, but the score did not change.

The Salavat Yulaev team will hold the next match at home with Moscow Dynamo on October 29.
