Bashkiria swimmer Polina Egorova won another medal at Youth Olympic Games

UFA, 9 October 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Natalia Ovcharuk/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. A swimmer from Salavat Polina Egorova was given the second award at the Summer Youth Olympic Games in Argentina. The trainee of the Bashkir sport won a bronze medal in the combined relay 4x100m.

Polina started the next-to-last having taken a baton from Anastasia Makarova.

“At that time, the Russians were swimming fifth. With the efforts of Polina Egorova, the Russian team improved the result by two positions, and Elizaveta Klevanovich managed to keep it”, the Ministry of Sports of Bashkiria reports.

Gold medals in this discipline were won by athletes from China, silver - from Australia.

Earlier, Polina Egorova, as part of the Russian national team, rose to the first step of the podium in the mixed relay 4x100 m freestyle.
