Bashkiria fencers became winners of European Championship

Eight gold, three silver, and nine bronze medals were won by Russian athletes at the European Wheelchair Fencing Championships. The Russians ranked first in the team event. Three of our Bashkir sportsmen - Timur Khamatshin, Albert Kamalov, and Nikita Nagaev competed as part of our national team.

"Nikita Nagaev, who in the finals lost to his compatriot Roman Fedyaev, became a silver medalist of the European Championship among the fencers in the category "A". Albert Kamalov won bronze in the "B" category", the press service of the republican Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports reported.
