Bashkiria resident Sergei Petrov won international marathon in Vladivostok

UFA, 24 September 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The third International Marathon was held in Vladivostok with more than 3,500 people taking part in it.
Sergei Petrov from Bashkortostan became the winner at a distance of 42.2 km among men with the result of 2 hours 24 minutes 24 seconds. The second place was taken by Roman Isayev from Vladivostok (2:35.32). The third was Japanese Sakamoto Tomonori (2:38.10)
Each participant of the marathon who finished the race received a medal at the finish. The prize fund - 1 million rubles - was distributed among the participants who took the first three places at the declared distances.
Natalya Sergeeva from Khabarovsk was the best among women at the marathon race (2: 40.49). The second place went to the representative of Yakutia Nadezhda Gogoleva, her result was 3 hours 3 minutes. Victoria Myachikova from the Primorye Territory became the third - 3: 3.51.
In 2017 Sergey Popov from Novovoronezh (2 hours 24 minutes 20 seconds) became the best in the marathon race, followed by Evgeny Bushkov (2: 24.59) from Vladivostok, 2:29.2.
Sergei Petrov is 28 years old. He lives in the village of Chesnokovka, Ufa district. He represented the club #Beguschi Medved (Running Bear) at the marathon.
