The Bashkortostan’s citation index in foreign media has grown significantly with the appearance of the Ufa football club. The Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov stated this at a plenary session of the 1st Republican Youth Employment Forum - "PROFuspeh".

"Ten years ago no one knew us at all. Now the citation index has grown ten-fold", said Rustem Khamitov, commenting on the speech of the general director of FC Ufa Shamil Gazizov.

The head of the region stressed that "the whole world is going crazy about football", and FC Ufa progress became "an interesting marketing technique to promote our republic".

“Today FC Ufa is a supplier of football players, including to the famous teams of the world. The club participated in the Europa League games”, the Head of the Republic reminded. “Nobody believed that in five or six years you could create a new sports team, achieve success and get results. It turns out that everything is possible. It just requires desire, passion, and emotions.”
