Salavat Yulaev won victory over Severstal in overtime

The second match of the 11th season of HC Salavat Yulaev was held in Cherepovets with the local HC Severstal. In the first period, the fans saw four goals at the Ice Palace. The score in this meeting was opened by the host team: Carter Ashton hit the Metsola's net in the fourth minute. Then, the Salavat Yulaev’s Kadeykin, Mayorov and Kugryshev scored in a row.

In the second period, the Bashkir team lost its advantage, having upset their Finnish goalkeeper twice more - 3: 3.

During the third section of the playing time, the Ufa team missed again. This time Yuri Trubachev scored a goal. The players of Nikolai Tsulygin tried to correct the situation and once again transfer the game into overtime. Burdasov managed to do it equalizing the score 24 seconds before the final siren - 4: 4.
