There they were met by personal fans of the coach of the Scottish team, the legend of Liverpool and England national team Steven Gerrard. The specialist went straight to the hotel, where a pre-match press conference was held.

Gerrard said that the return game with FC Ufa in the capital of Bashkortostan is a clean sheet.

"We prepared for this match and we are self-confident. I think that we will succeed", said Stephen Gerrard. "I'm confident in my players, despite the fact that they will play relaxed".

The Rangers coach noted that he could not single out any player from the Bashkir team. However, he still knew the weak points of the opponent.

Gerrard also denied the fact that it would be problematic for his players to play at the Neftyanik stadium due to its artificial cover.
