Ufa pilots won World Superlight Aviation Championship

Maxim and Alfiya Semenovs rose to the first step of the podium, having successfully performed in the double delta planes class. According to the press service of the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sport of Bashkortostan, the Ufa natives for the third consecutive year are the best in the world (world champions 2016 and 2018, European champions 2017).

The national team of Russia at the World Championships was represented by four crews: a double delta-plane, a single delta-plane and two gyroplanes.

66 athletes from 10 countries had to perform 14 tasks: navigation tasks, fuel economy, aerodrome tasks.

As a result, the Russians took the fourth team place.
