FC Ufa players, coaches and staff received British visas and departed to Scotland

The Ufa football club received British visas and went to Scotland for a meeting with the Rangers in the play-off round of the Europa League. Previously, foreign media reported that the Bashkir club could miss the match with the players of Steven Gerrard due to problems with visas.

As the General Director of FC Ufa Shamil Gaizov explained, "the British media got something wrong". The team, as planned, received visas on the evening of August 21, and on August 22 flew to the game in Glasgow.

The first match between FC Ufa and Rangers will be held on Thursday, August 23. The match starts at 23.45 Ufa time. A team of Polish referees led by Daniel Stefansky will serve the game. He will be assisted by Marcin Bonek, David Igor Golis and Zbigniew Dobrynin.
