Bashkiria athletes are preparing to perform at World Rowing and Canoeing Championships

The Portuguese Montemor-u-Velho will host the World Rowing and Canoeing Championship from August 22 to 26. Two representatives of the Bashkir sports Ilya Pervukhin and Oleg Sinyavin will compete in these competitions as part of the Russian national team.

"Oleg Sinyavin is announced in a quartet of kayakers at a distance of 1000 meters, and Ilya Pervukhin at a similar distance, but in a canoe-pair", the press service of the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports RB informs.

According to the head coach of the Russian national team Alexander Zhdanov, this year the crews will be considered focusing on the World Cup in 2019, where the Olympic licenses will be competed for.
