Athlete from Ufa ran charity marathon to Izhevsk

UFA, 15 August 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Natalia Ovcharuk/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Ivan Golikov, the Ufa native, Candidate Master of Sports in Biathlon ran a charity marathon to Izhevsk. He supported the seriously ill children with this marathon.

The runner described all his 10 day-route on his pages on social media. Ivan ran over 50 km a day.

"365 km 510 meters are behind me," Golikov wrote in the last post.

The sportsman ran both in the rain and in the heat, having experienced all the delights of the weather. On the way, he planned to collect 200 thousand rubles for the treatment of seriously ill children. The final sum raised has not yet been announced.
