13 children from Ufa take part in International Сhildren’s Games in Jerusalem

UFA, 1 August 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. In Jerusalem, the 52nd International Children's Games were officially launched. Ufa is represented by 13 young athletes at this important sports forum. Total, more than 1,000 athletes from 69 cities from all over the world take part in the ICG. The film crew of the channel "All Ufa" visited a venue of sporting events - the Israeli stadium "Sultan Pool".

The purpose of the International Children's Games is strengthening of peace and friendship through sport. More than 37 thousand children from four hundred different cities and 86 countries of the world have already taken part in the competitions. Athletes from Ufa seriously claim to medals in three sports: fencing, judo and track and field athletics.

A business reception on behalf of the mayor of Jerusalem, Nir Barkat, took place the day before. Participants of the event shared their first impressions of the Games in Israel. The Ufa delegation presented Niro Barkat an official gift from the head of the Administration of Ufa Irek Yalalov. Exactly one year later, the Bashkir capital will welcome the International Children's Games - 2019. At the meeting, Nir Barkat inquired about the preparation for the International Children's Games in Ufa in 2019 and said that the sports delegation of Jerusalem would definitely come to the next games in Bashkortostan.

In addition to the sports program, excursions to Jerusalem are planned, business meetings of official delegations.
