Ice hockey players from Ufa Salavat Yulayev returned from the training camps that took place at the Vierumäki sports complex. For two weeks spent in Finland, the Ufa players managed to gain physical fitness, work out team interactions, won the Chelyabinsk Traktor in a control match and interest foreigners with a Terra Bashkiria logo.

In early July, HC Salavat Yulaev presented a new outfit for pre-season hockey tournaments - game sweaters decorated with a logo of Terra Bashkiria. The same logo was placed on a uniform that hockey players wear for training. This inscription caused considerable interest among foreigners since the first days of staying at the training camp.

The tourist brand of Bashkortostan - a Terra Bashkiria logo and a slogan "Soul of the Urals. Heart of Eurasia"- appeared in the spring of this year. It was developed by the Ufa branding studio Paradox Box commissioned by the State Committee for Entrepreneurship and Tourism. The presentation was attended by the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov.

"A brand, if it is really successful, will take on a life of its own. I think it should appear at our tourist camps, sanatoriums, on prospectuses about our republic, on books. Let's see how people will perceive this brand", said the head of the region.
