On Sunday, the Russian team defeated the Spanish team in a series of post-match penalties at the Luzhniki Moscow stadium and for the first time in history went to the quarterfinals of the World Cup.

Stanislav Cherchesov's team will play with Croatia in the quarterfinals on July 7.

In case of the Russian national team's reaching the semifinal, the RFU will receive at least $22 million instead of 16.
