Ufa will host International Children's Games in 2019

The administration of Ufa signed an agreement on holding Summer International Children's Games in the capital of Bashkiria in 2019. The President of the ICG committee Thorsten Rush, and the secretary general of the committee Richard Smith arrived in Ufa to this end. The delegates also got acquainted with the preparations for the event.

The International Children's Games are sports competitions held under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee between teenagers aged 12 to 15 years, to strengthen peace and friendship through sports events. They were first held in 1968 in the Yugoslav Celje. This year, Jerusalem hosts ICG.

Ufa was the host city of the International Children's Winter Games in 2013.
