Sergei Semak leaves FC Ufa

On May 29, the Ufa football club officially announced a termination of the contract with the head coach Sergei Semak. The employment contract is terminated by mutual consent of the parties. This was reported by the press service of the Bashkir team.

It should be marked that the transfer of Semak to the St. Petersburg Zenit was discussed in the sports community for about three weeks.

Recall that Sergei Semak signed a contract with Ufa at the end of 2016. Under his leadership, the Ufa team twice conquered the historical peaks: the seventh place in the season of 2016/17 and the sixth and the Europa League in 2017/18. This was the best result for the Ufa club in the whole history of the club.
