Yuri Shevchuk and Ildar Abdrazakov will perform at 2018 World Cup

Dozens of artists will take part in the solemn event. Also, a native of Ufa, an opera singer, People's Artist of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan, a two-time Grammy Award winner Ildar Abdrazakov will appear on the scene.

"Music and sports are two elements that will converge on the same stage in a sacred place for Russia - on Red Square! I am proud to take part in this grand, historic event - a gala concert dedicated to the opening of the World Cup", the artist wrote on his Instagram.

The next day, June 14, in Samara at the FIFA fans festival during the World Cup 2018 will perform a DDT group led by Yuri Shevchuk, according to the official website of the government of the Samara region.
