Rustem Khamitov discussed increasing republican ice arenas efficiency with Russian honored coach Nina Moser

Yesterday in the House of the Republic the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with the honored figure skating coach of Russia Nina Moser. Issues of increasing the effectiveness of existing and under construction ice arenas in the region, development of winter sports, improving sports training for achieving the highest results were discussed there.

The honored coach of Russia visited the "Ufa-Arena", the city Sports Palace, the Biathlon sports and fitness complex, the Specialized Children's Alpine Skiing Olympic Reserve School, and a short track center under construction and the territory where it is planned to build a modern fitness center with an ice arena.

"It is really great what I have seen. It's good that you have such wonderful sports facilities both in quality and occupancy", said Nina Moser. "I understand that people care about everything that happens here.”

During the meeting, the coach shared her impressions of visiting sports facilities and shared with a number of proposals to increase the effectiveness of their activities.

"The main purpose of my visit is figure skating, development of sports opportunities for children and youth in order to compete for the highest places in various sports disciplines, including figure skating. I came here to see what the current situation is in the republic today. Now we have paid close attention to the specialization of these skating rinks, development opportunities ", said Nina Moser. "I thanked the head of the region for doing so much for the sport in the republic. We have visited skating rinks, a ski school, a biathlon track. All that has been done to date is unique facilities of international level, which are capable to prepare champions.”
