First All-Russian festival of Nordic walking "Freedom of Movement" starts in Ufa

UFA, 22 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. On June 3, the capital of Bashkortostan will host the first All-Russian festival of Nordic walking "Freedom of Movement". The event will be held in Gafuri Culture and Recreation Park in Ufa.

"The campaign "Freedom of Movement" was launched in 2016 with a goal of popularizing one of the most effective and accessible types of fitness - Nordic walking. For two years the project has already united eight cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Volgograd, Kemerovo, Samara, and Yaroslavl. A cycle of festivals will start in Ufa in 2018, and after that, it will go to Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk and Nizhny Novgorod", the organizers said.

Nikita Belogolovtsev and Larisa Verbitskaya will be presenters in all cities.

Within the framework of the festival in Ufa, the instructors will conduct master classes and lectures on the benefits of Nordic walking.
