Two more hockey players of HC Agidel extended contracts with Ufa club

UFA, 14 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Natalia Ovcharuk/. The women's hockey team from Agidel (Ufa) continues to retain the championship team. New contracts for three seasons with the team were signed by the defender Anna Shibanova and forward Elina Mitrofanova. This is reported on the official website of HC Salavat Yulaev.

The 23-year-old Anna Shibanova competes for HC Agidel since 2012. For six years of her career as a member of the Bashkir team, the defender twice participated in the Olympic Games (2010 and 2014), won two bronze medals at the World Championships, three times took the third stage of the championship podium, twice the second, won the World Winter Universiade, Hockey League and in 2018 won the Cup of the WHL.

The 26-year-old Elina Mitrofanova is the Agidel’s forward since 2011. She has eight bronze medals of the Russian championship, two silver medals, a bronze medal at the World Championships, the World Winter Universiade Championships, a victory in the regular WHL Championships and the WHL Cup.

Earlier, the Bashkir team extended contracts with Nicole Chupkova and Olga Sosina.

Recall that in the 2014/18 season, the Ufa Agidel won the main league trophy for the first time in history.
