FC Ufa defeated Tosno in last round of Russian Football Championship 2017/18
UFA, 13 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Natalia Ovcharuk/. FC Ufa in the 30th round of the Premier League hosted the holder of the Cup of Russia Tosno from the Leningrad region. The home team took the initiative from the first half, which was finished with a convincing score of 2:0.
The first goal in the net of David Yurchenko was organized by Dmitry Zhivoglyadov striking from the penalty line. His namesake Sysoev doubled the advantage of the Ufa club assisted by Paurevich. The team did not hide emotions and both goals celebrated together with the coaching staff.
In the second half, Sylvester Igbun organized the third goal. He pulled away from Tosno two players, beat the goalkeeper and struck the already empty net - 3: 0. A little later the Paurevich scored the fourth goal, and Zhivoglyadov made a double - 5: 0.
At the end, the team and fans solemnly said goodbye to Dmitry Stotsky and Nikolai Safronidi. The first goes to FC Krasnodar, the second - completes his playing career.
FC Ufa finished the season in the sixth place and acquires the right to compete in the European League.
