Bashkir athletes from Oktyabrsky won silver medal of Sport Acrobatics World Championship

UFA, 17 April 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. The Sports Acrobatics World Championship finished in the Belgian Antwerp. Acrobats from 34 countries took part in it. Russia and Bashkortostan were represented at the competition by athletes from the city of Oktyabrsky Anastasia Chaganova and Nikita Ignatiev. They won silver medals.

The athletes are trainees of the Alexander Dergunov Federation of Sports Acrobatics under the guidance of coaches Olesya Mullagalieva and Artem Dergunov. They have been practicing and competing in pairs for four years already.

This victory was preceded by long months of hard training, participation and successful performances in nationwide and regional competitions, in the championship of Russia, Europe, participation in the All-Russian sports acrobatics competitions, which are held annually in the city of Oktyabrsky.

According to the coach Olesya Mullagalieva, Anastasia Chaganova and Nikita Ignatiev performed very well, showed impeccable technique, artistry, maybe they just did not have enough experience.

"It's not an easy task to compete with the acrobats from Great Britain who have won first place and have been performing for the third year already", the coach said.
