Anton Babikov became first in pursuit race at Russian Biathlon Championships

A Bashkir athlete, world biathlon champion Anton Babikov was the first in a pursuit race at the Russian Championship 2018 in Khanty-Mansiysk. His partners in the national team Maxim Tsvetkov (Moscow region) and Evgeny Garanichev (Tyumen region) finished the second and third.

The 26-year-old Ufa biathlete started the fourth and finished the first with an advantage of five seconds, with two misses in his count. The representative of Bashkortostan hit the podium of the current national championship for the first time.
