Erkka Westerlund: "Will I continue to work with Salavat Yulaev? It is still open issue"

After the match, the head coach of the Ufa ice hockey team Erkka Westerlund thanked the fans for their support throughout the season, the club's management and the head of the republic. Also, the Finnish specialist told about his plans for working with the HC Salavat Yulaev.

"This is still an open issue, I do not know what the club thinks about it, and I do not know myself. I want to thank all our fans - they helped us a lot during the season. I also want to thank all our management for their support, in particular, in November. Everybody supported us, especially Tagir Ibragimov, the general director of the club, and the head of Bashkortostan", said the Salavat Yulaev’s coach after the defeat in the series with the Chelyabinsk Traktor.

Erkka Westerlund together with his Finnish colleagues signed a contract with Salavat Yulaev in the summer of 2017.
