UFA, 20 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. Today in the House of the Republic the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with the head coach of the Ural Volleyball Club Daniele Bagnoli. The results of the 2017/18 game season, the prospects for the club's development and the tasks for the near future were discussed there.

"We see that the results of the season are not as such as we expected and anticipated", Rustem Khamitov said. "But in general the team performance was quite stable and serious. The club is strong enough. The last two games displayed that it can show results. Let's hope that the team will succeed in the next season. "

"During my career I have worked in many parts of the world. I can say that, in my experience, we had a wonderful season in Ufa. The club has created all the conditions necessary for quality work, training and playing", noted Daniele Bagnoli. "I consider that the Russian championship in this season was more than ever strong and competitive. In the next season, we should achieve more. We need to get the most out of the resources that are at our disposal. "

Recall that in the Russian Championship in 2018, the VC Ural took the eighth place in the number of points scored. But since the All-Russian Volleyball Federation this year has established a formula depending on number of victories, the VC Ural, which won 12 matches, took the ninth place.
