Bashkiria freestylers won medals of Russian Freestyle Cup

UFA, 20 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Natalia Ovcharuk/. Seven athletes represented our republic at a stage of the Russian Freestyle Cup in Ufa. Together with them, representatives of Moscow, the Moscow Region, St. Petersburg, the Krasnodar Territory and the Yaroslavl Region competed for medals.

A participant of the 2018 Olympics in Pyongchang, Christina Spiridonova won gold in the acrobatics discipline. Anastasia Prtykova rose to the second step of the podium, and Sofya Alekseeva (both from the Yaroslavl Region) took the third position.

Young sportsmen from Bashkiria took the whole podium: the first place - Yegor Kuzmin, the second - Ruslan Katmanov, the third - Vadim Khakimov.

On the second day of the competitions Katmanov scored a gold medal to his personal count, Kuzmin – a silver one, Khakimov - a bronze medal.
