Salavat Yulaev will play sixth match with Avangard in Omsk: outcome predictions

UFA, 12 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Natalia Ovcharuk/. On March 12, on the Omsk ice HC Salavat Yulaev may put an end to the playoff series with the Avangard and reach the semifinals of the East KHL playoff games.

Two consecutive victories and appearance of Ben Scrivens on the ice gave confidence to the Ufa team. The Canadian goalkeeper of the Salavat Yulaev missed three goals in two matches with Avangard (for comparison: Nalimov and Kareyv allowed the opponent to score 16 goals in three games).

Also experts note another advantage of HC Salavat Yulaev - a line of foreign players, which, in fact, is very resultative. In the fifth match of the series the Ufa team gained a victory due to the double scored by Joonas Kemppainen. Despite this, the guests of today's confrontation have some problems playing short-handed.

Forecasts for the sixth match of Salavat Yulaev and Avangard are ambiguous: some believe that the Omsk will be confident on the home ice, others bet on guests from the capital of Bashkortostan.
