Ufa native Anton Babikov with partners took 9th place in mixed relay race at Olympic Games

UFA, 21 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Natalia Ovcharuk/. Russian biathletes took the ninth place in the mixed relay race at the Olympics in South Korea. As part of our national team, the Ufa native Anton Babikov competed at the third stage. Ulyana Kaisheva, Tatyana Akimova and Matvei Eliseev were his partners during the race.

A gold medal was won by the French (Marie Dorin Habert, Anais Bescond, Simon Desthieux and Martin Fourcade), silver went to the Norwegian team (Marte Olsbu, Tiril Eckhoff, Johannes Thingnes Boe, Emil Hegle Svendsen), bronze - to Italians (Liza Vittozzi , Dorothea Wierer, Lucas Hofer, Dominik Windisch).

Recap, this was the last biathlon discipline for the national athletes from Russia at the Games in Pyeongchang.
