HC Salavat Yulaev won Neftekhimik in friendly match
UFA, 20 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Daria Petrova/. On Monday, February 19, the Ufa HC Salavat Yulaev hosted the first of two friendly matches with Neftekhimik (Nizhnekamsk) scheduled for the Olympic period.
Both teams were left without their foreign players: Linus Omark, Teemu Hartikainen and Joonas Kemppainen (Salavat Yulaev), Žiga Jeglič, Erik Gustafsson, Dennis Everberg (Neftekhimik) are competing for the national teams of their countries at Winter Olympics.
In the first period, the teams exchanged two goals, and Enver Lisin was the first to score in the first minute. Only a few minutes before a siren the Neftekhimik forward Ildar Shiksatdarov managed to hit our net.
Salavat Yulaev scored the second - and the last goal in the match in the middle of the second period. The third frame was goalless. The score in the match - 2: 1 for the Ufa team.
HC Salavat Yulaev also proved to be stronger in a post-match shootout: Lisin and Zubov threw pucks into the Neftekhimik’s net. The Ufa goalkeeper Andrei Kareev saved our net.
The second friendly match with Neftekhimik will be held on Wednesday, February 21. The match will start at 13.00.
