Short tracker from Ufa Semen Elistratov took seventh place at Olympics in Pyeongchang at 1000 m

UFA, 19 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Natalia Ovcharuk/. Semen Elistratov failed to conquer his best distance of 1000 m at the Olympics in Pyeongchang. In the semi-final race athlete came last, having shown 1 minute 26,773 seconds and took the final seventh place in the competitions.

A gold medal at this Olympic distance was won by Canadian Samuel Gerard (1 minute 24,650 seconds), "silver" went to American John-Henry Kruger (1 minute 24,864 seconds). The third step of the podium was taken by SEO Yira from South Korea (1 minute 31,619 seconds).

Recap, on February 10, Semen Elistratov as a member of the team of Olympic athletes from Russia won the first bronze medal in South Korea at a distance of 1500 meters.
