Ufa native Anton Babikov was 40th in men's pursuit race at 2018 Olympics

UFA, 13 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Natalia Ovcharuk/. The 40th place was taken by Ufa biathlete Anton Babikov in a pursuit race at the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang. The athlete missed four times.

The French biathlete Martin Fourcade took the gold. The second was Swede Sebastian Samuelson, the third - German biathlete Benedikt Doll.

The day before Anton Babikov finished the 57th in sprint among 87 biathletes. In this discipline, the Ufa sportsman also missed.

The biathlete himself places stake on an individual race. This discipline starts on February 15. Also Anton Babikov will take part in a mass start on February 18 and in a mixed relay race on February 20.
