Salavat Yulaev lost to Jokerit in shootout series

The Ufa team again was the first to miss in the fourth game of the home series: Ivan Nalimov failed to save a puck thrown by Steve Moses - 0: 1. HC Salavat Yulaev disagreed with this scenario and in a minute twice disappointed the Jokerit’s goalkeeper. First Arzamastsev assisted by Tkachev and Goncharov struck the gates of Ryan Zapolski, then Hartikainen was successful with the stick - 2:1.

In the second period as soon as the opponents played "4 versus 4", Nalimov missed the second goal - 2:2. But Salavat Yulaev began stirring fightback. One of the attacks ended with a goal performed by Maxim Mayorov - 3: 2. But 14 seconds before the end of the period the home team found itself at a disadvantage and a goal from the Finns was not long in coming - 3:3.

In the final period, the Ufa team regained the initiative and started with a goal in the power play. The author was Linus Omark, assisted by Larsen and Burdasov - 4: 3. Later the Jokerit again caught up with the Salavat Yulaev: Nalimov missed a goal from Peter Regin - 4: 4. The match smoothly flowed into overtime, but even then the teams did not reveal the winner. In the shootout the Finnish hockey players turned out to be stronger.

The Ufa team will hold the next match on the home ice with HC Sochi on February 27.
