HC Salavat Yulaev will hold two friendly matches during Olympic Games

Two weeks left before the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, where two players from Ufa Salavat Yulaev Ben Scrivens (Canada) and Linus Umark (Sweden) already officially will participate. Salavat Yulaev will hold three more home matches of the regular KHL championship till this event: on January 19 with CSKA, on January 21 - with Slovan and on January 23 - with Jokerit. A month later, on February 27, the Ufa squad will have another game with Sochi.

During the Olympic Games, according to the head coach of Salavat Yulaev Erkki Westerlund, the team will train on the home ice.

"Then we'll give some rest time for our hockey players, and after that we'll play two friendly matches with Neftekhimik", the Finnish specialist said at a press conference after the match of Salavat Yulaev and Vityaz.

Now HC Salavat Yulaev occupies the seventh line of the Eastern Conference, ahead of the nearest opponent HC Sibir by four points.
