Secretary-General of International Children's Games Committee Richard Smith is paying visit to Ufa
UFA, 6 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. The Secretary-General of the International Children's Games Committee Richard Smith is on a working visit to Ufa. As representative of the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports RB Liya Gubaidullina told Bashinform News Agency, Richard Smith arrived in the capital of Bashkortostan in preparation for the International Children's Games.
In Ufa, the representative of International Children's Games will visit several sports facilities, where the competitions are planned, as well as opening and closing ceremonies of the Games. Thus, the capital of Bashkortostan will become the only city in the world to host both Winter and Summer International Children's Games for the half-century history of the International Children's Games.
The 53rd International Children's Games will be held in Ufa in 2019. According to preliminary data, more than 1500 athletes from all over the world, in particular, teams from Russian cities, America, Canada, China, South Korea, Western Europe, Japan will take part in the competitions.
